Confused...
I am hunting in Caroline County this weekend and im trying to read the regs... but im getting totally confused. From what im reading I believe I can only General Firearms hunt and it is buck only...
Is this the case? I cant bow or muzzleload hunt? If im reading it wrong and I can... can you tell me what I can shoot? Thanks.

Neal,
Only a buck till December 27. You can use a bow or muzzleloader during the general firearms season, but you have to wear blaze orange.

Thanks Rick,
So I can use my muzzleloader during general firearms season... I just cant shoot a doe? Whats the point of having a muzzleloader season if you can use it during general firearms season also...
Im not complaining because I love muzzleloader season im just trying to see what they were thinking.

hey neal my guess one , they collect an extra 12.50 for a two week season.
two, the peak of the rut usually occurs around those two weeks so it helps on how many hunters are in the woods when the bucks are most vulnerable. three, it use to be harder to kill a deer with a muzzleloader
at a 100 yards now there easy to use so less deer where killed . good luck .
