bow cam
I was wondering because my son dry fired his bow 1 time if it would effect the cams or cause them to break at all. If you could please respond. We shot it and examined it and no cracks or breaks. He is pulling back 42 lbs. If you could please give us a response we would really appreciate it.

Hey George... I would probably take the bow to your local pro-shop and have them take a look at it just to be sure. Normally, it's not the cams that suffer damage on a dry-fire but the limbs and riser can have hairline cracks. Luckily he is shooting a rather low poundage and hopefully no damage was done.
Good luck and be careful!
