Post How many folks are still undecided on where they will be Sat
I'll be in Shendandoah Co. starting my season in a ground blind. My only unknown decision is whether to put out a hen decoy, a jake decoy, or neither (or one of the two). Hunting a funnel between two pretty good sized Alfalfa fields and hoping they act like they been acting.

Anyone not sure yet where they will be opening morning?

PS. The fever is starting to build.

Why, are you offering? :D

Actually I am going down the shore for the youth hunt this Saturday. Will have your 20 in tow.

Must admit I am a little giddy right now. Probably almost wet my pants by Saturday morning. Dale's first time out after turkey. It will be fun any way you look at it. Just hope we are in the game!

I know where I'll be on Saturday, but I have very little confidence. (There was zero gobbling on the property this morning)

My two best farms are currently undergoing timber cutting and the birds are either scarce or just not there. It's shaping up to be a tough season for the McGuire's I'm afraid. I have fewer gobblers located this year than I can remember in a LONG time. Was glad to get Abby one!!

Sat. looks to be the best weather in a week, I think we'll see lots of pictures lighting up the board. We could use a rain to reset things a little.

Quantico started a 10 day war a couple days ago and it looks very tight for areas to be open. Will improvise, adopt and adjust to AP Hill if the Q is a no go. Have been hearing and seeing a good amount of birds on the Hill as well and looks to be a very good season down there.

Best to all and have fun!

I still don't know. But I am close....

I haven't done any scouting, and haven't been to either place for months. So, it'll be a crap shoot either way. One is public land, the other private land.

I'll be in DC surrounded by about 1 million people watching my oldest girl dance in the cherry blossom parade while you all are out in gods country chasing the grandest of all birds. I get started the 18th here in MD. Good luck to all!

More than likely in the "Duck Blind" as GN calls it...UNLESS I get some good pics on the trail cam we have set on the clover plot which is the best we've ever had.

I scouted a WMA in virginia for 3 weekends, saw and heard birds the first two times I went out there. Last weekend I pulled up in the same parking lot and there were a few other vehicles there. Did not hear any birds, just other hunters calling. Will be back there on Saturday. Might be a bust, I am suspecting there will be a few more cars in the lot this weekend.
