need some taxidermy advice
I am thinking of trying to mount a couple of ducks that ive taken....i have some at the taxidermist but you know that get kinda expensive.....so i thought about trying it myself.....i was just curious if anyone here has done any or if you could tell me the secrets to it......i ordered a video which hasnt come yet but there are always little secrets to things....thanks for the help guys.......

Hey Reed... I learned by videos and books so you are on the right path. They can give you a lot better instructions than I. One things with ducks, as you probably know, is they are very greasy and required a great deal of effort cleaning the skin. A wire wheel mounted on a drill can be helpful but you have to be REALLY careful or it will tear the skin. They will go over degreasing the duck in your video and it will help tremendously.
