I would appreciate it if someone could recommend a lodge for this coming spring season. My prefered location would be the southern states so I can begin my season earlier. I am planning on taking my nephew on his first hunt and believe an all inclusive setup would be best. Appreciate any feedback you can offer.

I would start out by doing a search for "southern turkey hunting" on www.google.com. That will give you a good place to start. Some people on here might be able to provide some specific names of places to help you out as well.

depending on what you wish to spend, there are all kinds of oppiortunities out there....I would look closely at hiring a guide rather than alodge, and thus arranging for your own lodging...Texas has perhaps the most likely success opportunities if it is critical that you harvest a bird. I would say the South Carolina area might be the one to look athis year too, as there are allegedly very good populations there ..I do not know of ny anmes Ican specifically reccomend for lodges. I have been to a few in Alabama, one that is worth looking at is Pushmataha . Many inthe south are priceier than the texas ones and tougher hunting I think. If you are a good turkey hunter to start with then the Texas semi-guided hunts may be very attractive to you....if you are a beginner, then a full service lodge is a better bet.
