First couple weeks were so so on my properties. Week three and four were just flat, turkeys with hens and no gobbling after fly down. Finally got a cool morning with no humidity, called one in off roost killed him at 6:05 , 6th time I hunted this particular turkey , always on same ridge with a jake and couple hens. No hens today. Tagged out for the 11th consecutive season. After I shot, a turkey on a farm next door kept gobbling , called couple times and he came across a field, barbedwire fence, creek , up a steep ridge and across a hollow towards my position gobbling the whole way. Had to slip out of there without him seeing me. Best action all year!!! ,but couldn't take him home with me. I will take someone in there to try him before the end. Don't give up yet guys, this nice weather might make this last week a good one!!!!
