Probably just like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but have any of you heard or heard of people seeing elk or elk sign in SW VA? I would love to just see them or better hear them bugling next month. I think I read that a semi hit a bull in Wise County not too long ago. Just curious.

Come on down to East Tenn and you can see them in the GSMNP (actually in the Cattalchee area towards NC)or in the New River area of Campbell and Scott Co Tenn.....ever had a grouse dog go on point and when you walk up behind him have an elk stand up from a deadfall just overthe egde of the hill?...gets your heart pumping.
