Just found this post on another forum and wanted to pass it on to ya'll....
On August 22, VDGIF will have a Board Meeting at the main headquarters in Richmond. Staff fishing regulation proposals will be presented and there will be a public comment/suggestion time. After that there will be nine public meetings around the state from Sept. 4 through the 12th. Dates, times and locations can be found at http://www.dgif.state.va.us. Proposals will again be presented and comments on the proposals accepted. On October 24th the Board will again meet to vote on the proposals. Any accepted regulations will become law on January 1, 2003. I encourage every one to attend one of the meetings. |
