Man I am bummed out! I went to the Outdoor Sportsman Show in Richmond today with hopes of meeting you guys at the National Wild Turkey Federation Booth. It didn't exsist! No booth marked NWTF, no NWTF on the board of where all of the vendors were. What a gip! Oh well I am sure there will be other opportunities to meet and get to know you guys. I was a little disapointed with the show. I don't bow hunt and I don't have a food plot, nor do I black powder hunt. Beyound that, I felt it was a somewhat limited selection of STUFF. | ||

I was lucky enough to get to finally met Ryan Tucker at the Mossy Oak booth......Ryan it was a pleasure!!...Soryy I missed the rest of ya... & I agree...I never found the NWTF booth either. Max | ||

After reading the posts this morning,I went and looked to see how easy it was to miss our booth, sorry all that tried to come out and visit.Hopefully next year we can make it a wholelot easier to find. Thanks for all that came by and tried to come and visit | ||

Razor I think you guys put on a good show.It was a little confusing to find but all in all we had a real good time.Ryan I came looking for you and didn't make the connection,we will hook up later I,m sure.Turk576 you guys had some stiff competition in the calling contest.The two guys from Pa.were good but I didn't want to be in Razor's and the rest of the judges shoes,they had some tuff calls.I think Gary did a real good job MC'ing the contest.It was his first one.Gary is going to be a real good regional director.I really look foward to working with him.I hope we can all support him and make us all more sucessful.If any of you guys ever get down to Martinsville , give me a call and we will get together and talk about somebody."Keep After Ol'CottonTop" | ||

Contest was good there was a little confusion in the end but it was handled very well. Hats off to all who made it work and the judges also. My calls were off a bit but I had fun and that is the name of the game. When I hunt I have never had a judge come to my calls only turkey(ha ha ha  ) Take care,. Jon | ||

Also like Larry said, "stiff competition" most of the callers are pro sponsored maybe they need a amature league like golf or something. Only a sugestion me and some others had. | ||

Jon don't loose sight of the fact that Ol' Cottontop is the final judge.It is a lot different calling one in and closing the deal with him than calling those judges.It is a bunch of fun and real good practice.I have killed a bunch of good birds and helped lots of others get their birds but I believe I might do anything up in front of a big bunch of people.I think all of you guys were good.We all had fun and thats what it's all about.I hope to go to the one in WV in Sept.Them mountain boys hunt for food first and have fun later.Hope to see you there. | ||
