TScottW99 Posted on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 - 12:33 am:    LOL @ TP.... we are using the Virginia Spring Gobbler survey(thought i had hidden it from the wife but no go).... some days it is hard... a couple of days i heard so many grouse drumming that my ears had constant "ghost" drumming sounds going on hmmmm umpire counter/clicker, now that's an idea ;-) hnt4bucks Posted on Thursday, June 06, 2002 - 12:24 pm:    Hours hunted = 31.5 Days hunted = 12 (least ever) Gobblers heard = 50 Gobblers seen = 20 Gobblers called in = 17 Killed (me) = 3 Killed (partner) = 2 Missed (partner) = 1 Hens heard = 20 Hens seen = 21 Hens called in = 6 Overall I would rate this as a great year for gobbling. Heard turkeys every day except one. Got 2 killes on video and appx. 2 hrs of strutting video as well. Can't wait till next year. I only hunted in Bedford co. this year due to time constraints. Sent in my survey today.
