Been out a few times now to public land (it's all I have to hunt here in NoVA). Haven't managed to hear a a bird yet much less see one. I've tried owl and crow calls for locating but haven't had any luck yet. Any help would be appreciated |

So far this year locator calls have been useless to me also.I was watching an older turkey hunter use a one piece box such as a M.A.D. Cherry Bomb and he really hit it with some loud ear piercing yelps to locate the bird up in the early morning. After no luck using locators I started usung my box after 8.30-9.00 and guess what-try it.I hunt the buddy system and now he tells me to give 'em the Cherry Bomb. |
