I am in the process of trying to create a non-profit orginization in Va. to bring dis-abled hunters together with able-bodied huntering assistants/partners. I am rapidly discovering that this is no easy task, I have been working with a non-profit orginization QDMA in trying to form a branch in the Fredericksburg area which would allow me to have some credentials and a non-profit status to allow me to get some free press to get the word out to all hunters, dis-abled or not.
I would rather have this orginization a seperate entity strictly geared towards the disabled outdoorsman, but really need some help in how to get this status and bring this to fruitation.
