Well we all know that we need to be careful and watch out for the other guy/gal. Today I got to get a upfront and personel reminder. My buddy and I were set up on this field since well before daylight. Called one hen in but no gobblers, only heard three all morning. I had my Sceery inflatable decoy about 20 yards out in the field in the middle of my buddy's and my positions. We had a hen sound off about 200 yards to the south west and I answered. Several minutes later I hear what I take as a glass call about 200 yards to the north west. The hunter/turkey keeps getting closer and I finally see him at the North West corner of the field in the woods watching my decoy hard. The Hunter sits down slowly still watching my decoy. Just like everyone says I say hunter in a clear loud voice and the guy doesn't even blink! I think for a minute (without moving) and say HUNTER in a clear and louder voice. The guy still doesn't move!!! still watching my decoy! I slowly reach back into my vest (the hunter pays no mind he's too intent on the decoy) I grab my blaze orange flap and whistle very loudly while holding up the blaze orange. HE FIANLLY SAW ME!! This hunter was about 45 yards away from me but was looking so hard at the decoy I guess he never heard me. Be careful out there ladies and gentlemen..... there are some real idiots in this world. Scott,
You're right! I myself was stalked at the Chickahominy WMA about 10 years ago. I had to jump up, do jumping jacks while screaming, "hunter, hunter." The guy then trotted off.
Turkey hunting can be extremely dangerous.

U did right by using the orange.......sounds like the other guy was a moron!
