great hunting this spring!killed a 19 lb. gobbler with a 10''beard and 3/4'' spurs on the sat. opener,went back pretty close to the same area this morning,called in TWO gobblers,had to wait for them to seperate before i could shoot,killed one that was 23lb,had a 11'' beard,1 1/2'' spurs....heard lots of gobbling sat. morn.,didnt seem to hear as much this morning.good luck to all.... |

UH OH Max if he is registered in the contest this could be close. We will have to start a post next week to register these birds, and get some pics up too. Hopefully by then I will have one to add to the scrap pile!!!! |

Nice Job ridge. I'd give my left I tooth just to hear one at this point. Talk about being in the wrong places at the wrong times. Oh well the season is young. |
