I hope those Rios feel sorry for me ...because I wont be doing much running and gunning.The docter gave me the confirmation so in true Irish style I am going to ignore all the advice from non Turkey Hunters,and go.I have dreamed for 50 weeks how this big Texas Tom is going to strut and beat his drum,how I am going to take him at 34 yards,and I even know how I am going to get him mounted!!The only difference is I can hardly walk!!
Some so called hunting freinds of mine have stated that it is the best thing that ever happened to my hunting..the guy who sets up right and stays put the longest,will win in the long term...we,ll see.I was hoping Freddy would lend me that Tape Recorder he uses...by the way CONGRATULATIONS to GN and FM for the Tennesse story....a real classic.
I will be away from Virginia until Sunday week so best wishes to all on Saturday...Ill try and find a computer in Texas to let you know wether hunting with a hernia has any advantages!!
