After about five days of listening for birds I am getting a little discouraged. I have only heard a few birds and most of them are on the edges of the property. I have heard sporadic gobbling on some heavily hunted public land. I may be out there fighting the rest of Richmond for a bird this spring. |

Look at it this way. Hunting public land will make a turkey hunter out of ya!!!!! |

Yea, I learned to hunt public land. I would rather not go back to the route. I don't mind slipping in and out on public land, but I hate for it to be my best spot.  I have a place North and West of Richmond, plus Amelia WMA is where I have been hearing the birds. |
