What's the deal! Just when you start to get excited about spring, you wake up to half an inch of snow! Thats the report from northern Tazewell county, anybody else get any? Been hearing birds every morning. One dandy roosts 150 yards from the house almost every night. He is going to be awful tempting, he's dancing to close to the fire!

Don't feel to bad, we have been getting snow for the last two days now!! It's already April 6th!!! Geeezzee, NY's turkey season starts May 1st!! I wonder if this crappy weather will delay the mating process, resulting in a henned up turkey population like we had during the spring season last year!! man, it was tuff sleddin' last spring, the dang gobblers were henned up right till the very last day of the season!! I bet the best time to hunt them would of been during the month of June!!! Sure hope that it starts warming up soon!!
