My father in law had a possible mild heart attack last week(gets the results in a couple of days). Well...he is my ticket to get on his company's land to hunt turkeys. Hence if he can't go, I can't go. Since, this is my first year and new to area(Richmond) does anyone know of a place to hunt nearby or would offer a newbee a chance to get in the woods in case of my FIL is not able to make it in the woods? Thanks for any input |

There may be WMA along the James River I have heard of. I used to live north of you around Fredericksburg, but have since moved westward. I hope things work out for you and you get to work some birds this season. Sorry to hear about your FIL, I hope his reports come back with minimal if any damage to his heart tissue. Good luck this season and I'll look around your area when I get a chance. I know east of Richmond there are a lot of turkeys with all the peanut fields and such. |
