I took my wife over to see our grandson on Easter, we drove about 180 miles each way, after leaving the house in CT before we made it to the main highway we saw gobblers strutting with hens, geese in green fields feeding, ducks flying and deer feeding. Driving thru MASS and into NY we saw more turkeys, even one gobbler strutting in the middle of the MASS Turnpike, while in NY my son took me to a field where the farmer has spread manure and there was well over 100 turkeys feeding there. How things have changed, when I was a kid we rode around for hours just hoping to get to see a deer, I think that now is the good old days for a lot of us hunters. Good luck to all this season wherever you hunt.

Where are you going to be hunting GN, I will be in Otsego County for the first 5 days of the season? I think it was last year, but it could have the two years ago that Freddy said he has hunted that area. Who's going to be coming with you?
