Hey men, have shot about three boxes of shell through six different chokes tubes this weekend.I shoot a rem. 870 express mag.Chokes used:truloc turkey 640,rem.super full,hasting extra full,madd,
rem.ventalator and star dot.Shell used:rem. prem.
3"#6 2oz.,fed. prem.3" #4,#5,#6 in 2oz and 1 7/8
win.3"4,5,&6's all hv. shells. most all chokes did decent at 40 yds, but the star dot stood out with rem.3"#6'S with 32 head neck hits 17 vital and 95 hits in a 9" circle, this is a 3 shot aver.I am forever trying to improve on my gus performance and always listen to others advice, fellas I tell ya if ya like feds. and win.ammo. try a box of remington prem. in the same weight and shot size,I don't think you will regret it. |

thanks for the info Rayferd... I use the Star Dot also and really like it. Puts out some great patterns. havn't tried the rem's though in my choke/gun combo... might have to try it., Scott |
