Ready and waiting to join the crowd.I've had someone I know horn in on my 20 acre honey hole. He just couldn't stand me getting a goodun there each year. Get to see a lot from work. Lot of strutting taking place. |

Not as much right now. Little cold snap may have set them back some what, but I'm sure when the weather warms up they'll crank it up again. GS... |

Freddie, our property in Grainger County, Tn is booming. Sunday morning i listened to four different birds for about two hours. Saturday could not come fast enough. We still need to get together and hunt in VA. Clifford from vadeer has joined our lease in Franklin County and he will be up with me the last week in April to chase birds. Maybe we can get together. |

I have heard that the birds in middle Tennessee are really cranked up. I am on the Cumberland Plateau, and we usually run a week or so behind. One of my bosses walks each morning before work, and he has been hearing a bird most mornings, but only gobbling once or twice. It's getting close! Freddy, good luck in the Volunteer State (just don't kill 'em all ! |
