It appears that the NWTF board is working normally again. I was able to post a reply for the first time in about 4 months.

Good to be back Talking Turkey again.I quit all the forums when PETA sabotage units were running wild and it was only after actually meeting Freddy last week in Culpeper that I thought I would start reading again.By the way Freddy, that Primos Crystal sounds different in your hands than mine,I think you have a tape hiding somewhere!!
Good luck to all the regulars,
The Irishman.
P.S. NO noise on a cold windy Saturday here in Fauquer,BUT Sunday was great. One Gobbler rattled for nearly an hour!!!

Hey P.G,
2001 was not a year when I took many photograhs!I think you know about the dead Turkey that came back to life last spring, well, the rest of the year stayed much the same.If you wrote a book on the 10 most common mistakes in Turkey and Deer Hunting,I managed to do 11! Deer missed at 15 yards with a bow, Black Powder guns that wont fire, especially if you forget to put the cap on,and last but not least,a huge Rockfish lost at the net.BUT,I know God did all of the above for a reason....I was beginning to think and act like I was the best hunter and fisherman that ever came out of Ireland!!The truth is I was very lucky for a few years and now if I go back to basics and remember that patience, homework, practice and perserverance are the items that succeed,I will be fine.
Freddy sold me a call that begins with a P and my theory for this spring is that the big toms are going to hear it and feel sorry for me!
I hope your season went well, and that this spring has you making a trip to the taxi man!I leave for Texas on the 11th,hunt near Farmville 16 through 20 and then back to the farm here near Rimmington for the rest of the season.Got 2000 acres and early signs and sounds are looking promising-your welcome to give it a try seen as you only live up the road,Freddy said he might try and hunt sometime also, mind you our Fauquer Toms might be to smart for him!!!
Best wishes to you and all the regulars,
The Irishman

Hey Irishman... you can get a lot of areas off of topozone.com or terraserver.com. I have found some of them and printed them off on a color printer...

Thank I-Man. I didnt realize you had so much acreage. We never hooked up last year but I would love to give it a go this year. Drop me an email so we can discuss offline.
