I've always wondered how to hunt on rainy days. Unfortunately, being a working man I get very limited hunting time. I hate to sit indoors on a rainy Saturday during the season. Often, I hit the woods in rain gear. My strategy is to find a secluded field with a mature pine stand nearby. I have noticed that turkeys tend to use fields more on rainy days. What is the general game plan one should use on a rainy day? |

I agree with Mr. Longbeard... you've got it... turkeys are attracted to fields in the rain and that's where you will find me too! |
