O.K. I'm sitting at work at 1:30 in the morning and am B-O-R-E-D!!! I'm looking at websites dealing with all things turkey and find a site telling me how to make a tube call out of a film canister... you know what it works!!! It's no where as loud as my primos tube but it makes a decent yelp & cutts pretty good too. Might have to try this out come spring for close in yelping and cutting sice i can't seem to call on the primos quietly and sound half decent. Wouldnt' that be something... taking a turkey with a film canister and a latex glove  | ||

Scott try a few types of baloons too. When Freddy and I did the Jakes event there was an older gentleman there that had made some of these, and I recall that he had used some purple and black baloons. He said the darker the color the better the sound. He could really make that thing work. I use my film canisters for scent bombs in the rut and was going to try to make a tube call too. Kind of neat what you can make with these things. |
