Went out yesterday morning and didn't hear a thing. It was well below freezing up on the mountain though. I plan to be out tomorrow morning and it should be warmer. It's good to know you're hearin em 576. It is about that time! Kevin |

I've heard the same small group of gobblers twice this year- once on Wednesday and once this morning... it won't be long before they begin to gobble a little more regularly... |

Been out since Thurs. morning this week, no gobbles yet. Seen two different flocks both days. Wed. I busted them on the roost (Is that a omen?) I went to a different place this morning and saw two BIG DADDY'S boiled up for some hens. They never broke strut for 20-25 min. I'm hitting it again in the morning. Good luck to everyone!! |

Yesterday I heard one gobbling at 6:35. It was 23 degrees and there were about 100 crows jabbering. |

Buddy of mine went out Friday morning and heard 6-7. He said the birds gobbled about 8-10 times a piece. Warm weather here in NC is getting them going! |

Went out Sat morn. Bumped them going in, and only heard some clucks. Saw two flocks on the way home in the field. Too windy for me to even get up on Sunday. |
