just found the site im a tenn. turkey hunter myself but live about 15 min. from the tn. va. state line near damascus va. anyway just wanted to say hey & this is a great site |

Welcome to the site lots of good folks here that will share lots of info and hunt stories.Im hunting birds in Southampton cty Va. w/ my trusty bow...JMF...PS only been to Tenn. once for work Morristown i belive it was nice place w/ some nice hills near by . |

Welcome -The group here pretty much sticks to turkeys, and we have avoided the "Birthday Club" routine that has made some "turkey" boards a pain(for me anyway). I you can usually get your questions answered and they won't ask to many questions about Tenn's best kept secret,Johnson Co(that you do not want to answer). I think there are sevral people on here who hunt in Teen, Va, and other adjoining states ... |

Ive been "lurking" here for a while too.I found this site last yr.after we were at a baseball tourney in Bedford and the Lynchburg areas.When we traveled between the two,I was amazed at the # of turkeys and deer(big deer)that we saw.I have a standing invite from several people that I met there to come back and hunt.Its a long ways for me to travel though.Maybe some day!!! |
