Okay... looks like the cookout is may have to be after turkey season. A Sunday afternoon in early March is still a possibility but I need to get things going. My late Feb, early March schedule is tied up with shows, seminars, etc. on Saturdays. Do we want to do it on a Saturday or maybe a Sunday afternoon? Maybe the afternoon of Sunday May 19th- the day after turkey season closes? The next weekend is Memorial day weekend and that's probably not good. We could always go into early June. As far as March dates- Sunday afternoon on the 3rd or the 10th would work for me. With all the new members joining the forum I guess I should give them some info... Last year we held the 1st Annual VA Turkey.com Cookout at Smith Mountain Lake State Park. We all get together for a good time and good fellowship and we are trying to plan for this year's cookout. Let's try to pin down a date and get some ideas of location... | ||

I've regretted not going last year. My recommendation would be to wait until after season closes, but soon after it closes so the season is fresh in our minds. | ||
