Cant find it in 2 3/4 inch anywhere. Any ideas?
Whitetail Outfitters has both but only in 3 inch. Nobody else has ever heard of hevi shot.
BryanSteens and Buck Mountain no go either. Looks like I will probably have to order it. Guess it is time to consider buying a new shotgun and that's not a bad thing. Good luck to anybody hunting the last day. |

12 GAUGE SHELLS
For waterfowl, the 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch magnum shells both pack 1 1/4-oz of hard-hitting HEVI-SHOT™ pellets. But the 3-inch magnums launch at about 100 feet per second faster than the shorter shells.
The 2 3/4-inch shells pattern a bit more tightly, and have a roll crimp. The 3-inch shells hit harder, and have a star crimp.
The 2 3/4-inch shells come in white translucent hulls, while the 3-inch shells come in either white or black hulls (depending on who made them for us). Ah, the burden of too many good choices!
Our 12-gauge 3-inch magnum turkey loads have 1 1/2-oz of overkill HEVI-SHOT™ pellets. Now, you wouldn't need these for waterfowl, but if you want the extra punch, well, it's a free country
