Okay, it's almost the New Year and there was some discussion of having our cookout before Spring turkey season this year, possibly in March. Any ideas, suggestions, locations, etc.?

It seems Hawaii would be a nice location for a cookout....the weather is always great!

I'll be there, but try not to have it the week of March 24. I'll be chasing Tommy Three Toes.

Sounds nice hope to be there, maybe I can check for you to see if we could use the CATCE center they let people use it from time to time for a indoor reception let me know.

Smith Mountain Lake Park. It was held at a shelter there in the park. but we had it in the summer.....to cold to do it there in March I figure.

Freddy: Sound good to me too. Having it early will get everyone fired up for the season. I agree with knight va. I think we should have it inside. Let me know what I can do to help.

how about late february? Some people start hunting around the country in March, and a late february date might be good...but if folks want March that isfine too...

Well... the more I think about it March is probably a bad time for me. That is the busy season for seminars/shows and I'm usually doing one or the other every weekend in March. Plus, the last weekend in March the TN season opens and I'll be down there. Not that I need to be there for the cookout but I'd like to be! ;o)

My only possibility for doing it in March would be a Sunday afternoon.

Ideas, comments, suggestions?
