Author Message m00sehead Posted on Saturday, December 29, 2001 - 6:51 pm:    I stumbled upon Freddy's site and this bulletin board last night while doing some cyber-turkey hunting. I'm originally from VA but currently live in Hawaii. (trying to wrap up a 20 year stint in the military) I was recently in DC on business and made time to get down to VA to turkey hunt with my dad. I took a jake and he got a hen a week later. I'll try to post a pic. It sure was good to get back in the woods. I haven't hunted here in Hawaii yet. However, my wife and I spent several days over X-mas on the Big Island, checking out volcanoes, snorkeling....you know....all that christmas stuff! haha It's pretty big country over there with lots of cattle ranches. Needless to say, it got me thinking hard about going over to spring gobbler hunt sometime. I hear there is a healthy population of Rio Grandes over there. I made an inquiry with Parker Ranch, but I haven't heard back from them. You can check out their website at http://www.parkerranch.com. Would be a great vacation!
