Well.... I have been after this one bird(only 2 around I know of this year) near the house.... I was certian I could get in his bedromm this am.... was setting down after a VERY quiet slip into hie roost area... I had 3 days eraly cleared leaves for my path about the last 75 yds to the tree I wanted to set under..... It seems that in my absence he scrated thur my path placing leaves back in it..... I was setting down ever so quiet when he flushed at 5:40am.... this is the second time this year I have flushed this bird.....Ya'll know me......... its personal now..... I have picked his name........"The Guru"!!...why becasue he seems to know all the tricks... I think this bird teaches the before season "Dont get your head blew off 101" courses that it seems so many 3-4 yd old birds take.... I feel certian this is the same bird I have been in battle with for the past 2 springs.... alittle different roost area but not the far away.......... I know we say not to name them but this is bird must be the older brother of "The Ghost" which lives on another farm about 7 miles away..... Yeah..its sad...its me or him now!....Good luck everyone & "Hit Em Hard"
