That is a very complicated question. I am surethe answer is yes as far as the basic question...but whether your marraige survives is another even more complicated isssue. Deep souther n Fla opens around march 10 +- , I think...The northern most part opens around last week of March, and a middle geographic section opens in between. There are lots of easterns and osceola- cross birds in northern Fla..I would say it has quietly become a real sleeper area.. I understand the Southern-below Orlando- part for strictly Osceolla has become a bit pricey on private ground hunting and the state areas that are non-restricted on the draw permits are potentially crowded. There are somevery wll imfprmed people on the processs of out of sattae draw permits. Typical march weather in the area below Orlando is quite nice. Your wife and family could enjoy Disney et al and you could kill a bird with ibn an hour or so of Orlando. I hunted North Flalast march and would like to go back .

Ryan Tucker who post on here from time to time can give you a good contact for south Fla I think, if you think you might want a guide.. Tom Hoard in NC has a lot of info on the public draw hunts.

If you would like some info let me know. I have a really succesful guide I work with down there, and I have done the take the wife and hunt a few days thing myself. It works out ok, but it can cause some stress while your hunting. I may try and do it again this next season. Shout me an e-mail at rtucker@tuckeroutdoors.com

I lived in Florida for 10 years. In a place called Molino, FL. It is in the Northwest panhandle near Pensacola. Champion Paper Mill has a great bit of hunting land there. Plus the wife and kids can have there fun in the sun on Pensacola Beach which is about 30 minutes south.
I live in Ridgeway, VA now where I started a taxidermy business. Give me a holler if you'd like more info on the P'cola area.
