i am going to try some turkey calling contests and wondered where can get some audio sounds of cackling on a slate or glass. i can cackle on a mouth call, but i want to use a glass or slate in a contest. can you use any type of call in a contest and when you use a fly down cackle , can use any other sounds. like using a wing or a hat slapping on a leg.i have some blodgett slate and glass calls and these would be ideal for calling contests |

Bill Zearing makes a great one that he sells. Bill owns Cody Calls. I don't have his number but I'm sure if you search the web you can find it. Search on "Cody Turkey Calls" -Eric |

what age did you start turkey hunting and who got you started. i been hunting turkeys for 21 years and have shot 28 birds. biggest one was two years ago 22 lbs, 10 1/4 beard and 1 in, spurs. i started hunting turkeys at the age 20 and i had to teach myself and learn from videos and seminars. |
