This past week I've been blessed with some great hunts and time with great friends in and out of the turkey woods. At daybreak each morning, I found myself wondering how many of our troops in IRAQ were themselves wondering about standing in the turkey woods listening for an old gobbler to sound off....rather than the whistling of incoming RPG and mortar fire. Think about 'em folks, we all know they'd rather be back home over here than over there in that hell hole.

Hey J.D. you hit the nail right on the head. We indeed have a lot to be thankful for. We should all keep the men in women in our Armed Services in prayer as they fight to preserve our freedom. Every time I go into the woods I am thankful for the blessing of just being able have the privilege to be able to hunt in peace and enjoy the great outdoors! |
