O.k. after reading Freddie's post on the hunt in SC. I've got a question. What turkey that you've shot would be considered "special"? Meaning i.e.(wierd spurs,no beard,etc.) I'd have to say I shot one that had white spurs with the tips black. Was one of the earlier birds for me and didn't really know what a treat that was. |

Second bird I ever killed had 2 9.5" beards...Killed one last year that had spurs that were black then really light colored then black on the tips. Max |

I killed a bearded hen in the fall a few years back. Not all that uncommon anymore though... |

Killed a triple beard in Alabama years ago. Killed two double beards last spring...one in SC and one in PA. |
