First I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.
My number one plan is to get my knee surgery over as soon as possible. I had to cut my deer season short. (barely can walk with a cane).

I promised a gentleman, whom is several years older than I that I would come to Ky. and take him turkey hunting. He's never killed a longbeard. I really want to make that trip.
There are several other things that I need to do:
Freshen-up old blinds and make new ones.
Get all camo an boots in order, mine and the grandson's.
Check out everything in my vest, calls, decoys, mask, ect.
Check pattern on shotgun.
Do some scouting.
Speaking about scouting, while at my sisters the other day I counted 16 longbeards in a field on another mans property across the river from her's. I know for a fact that last spring they killed 7 to 9 longbeards on this property. I was amazed to see so many longbeards over there this year. Good luck to all.

I still want to know if your sister is single? ;>) Be careful with that knee...I have been without cartilaige for 40 years in my left knee and still mannage to get around , but with my friends the older you get it seems the harder it is for friends to come back quickly ffrom even the 'scope surgery. Good to hear from you.

GS Be careful with that knee. Hope you fell better soon. You will need to rehab to get up and down those hills in the Houston Valley. Good luck with the KY hunt too.

Thanks Freddy.
GN as soon as my sister becomes available I promise you'll be the first to know, and thanks for the info, you can't keep an old turkey hunter down long.
Hody don't forget that Greene co. is now the #1 county for turkeys in upper east tn.
Nice to here from you guys and I'll let you know how things went.
