Hey all just wanted to check in & say HEY!.... I hope everyone has had a safe season & now have big horns to put on the wall... If you dont have the horns I pray you have the memories of another great season. I want to thank everyone for using my BTD cover scent & for the kind words about it. I love it when i hear storys of how it helps others have a good hunt..... Sorry I havent been on much been chasing ole mossy horns. I was blessed to take a nice doe for the freezer & a decent 8pt that will find his way to a board then on my wall.....Dad & I are leaving for KS for our hunt in a few hrs...just wanted to check in & see whats cooking!.... Max, It was nice meeting you and thanks for your help on the range. I was able to take a nice cow horn. Not the deer I was hoping for, but I still feel blessed to have gotten one. Thanks agian. Tim | ||

Hey Tim you are most welcome & the pleasure was mine!.... I missed a nice one (150 class) in KS he busted out of the brush like a rabbit & was doing 90!... Dad & I had a BLAST.. saw muleys turkeys, coy dogs & prairie dogs not to mention Dodge City KS It was a great trip.... My season in VA consisted of a doe & a nice 8pt.. both of which will eat grand!.. & I still have a buck tag & will be out as time allows in Late ML season... I was off work for a month so I better stay in the ofiice awhile..lol.... Good luck all & God Bless Max | ||

Max, sounds like you had a great time in KS. Anytime you have a chance to spend time with your dad is great. I only wish my was still here so we could. But when I stop and think about it, I guess he still is. The one thing my dad gave me was the love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Hankey Mt. is a big part of my life and thats the reason I come back every year. It's the one place I can always be with my daddy. Okay, starting to tear up here so I'll sign off now . Hey man the big one seems to always get away. You better not miss when we go to Montana big boy or you may be missing a shirt tail..LOL. Glad you had a good trip and saw some country, but most of all glad you enjoyed some time with your dad, you will ALWAYS have that hunt with you. |
