Congrats to everybody who has had success, especially the first timers. I'll be leaving for GA in a few hours. Hope to report some good stuff when I get back. Everybody be safe. I had a blast on the Georgia trip. Brought back 3 nice does for the freezer. I had plenty of chances for more. Got excellent video footage of the hunts for 2 of them. My friend/guide gave me the green light for a good 17 inch 8 pointer, but I decided to hold off for something bigger which never came. No regrets though. I got to watch a flock of 16 turkeys this morning from about 15 yards away. Of note is the fact 2 birds were obvious bearded hens. All in all, a fantastic trip. Best of luck to all. |
