Hey everybody,
How do ya'll feel about the Bud commercial, you know the one where the owner of Bud is shooting at ducks flying over. Anyhow, the reason I ask is because me and my son were watching a hunting show when it came on. I didn't think about it till he said "Dad, that's stupid to drink beer and go hunting." BLEW MY MIND!!! I went over and told him he was right(chest swelling, mind you). You know, I thought about his words all day. To me I don't find that fitting to sportsmen. What if a parent who doesn't hunt and has a child wanting to try it saw that? I'll tell you what they would say...Stupid Redneck. Judgement swift and the sentence is on the child. Just my .02.

Good point... the only saving grace for Bud is the comment at the end of the commercial that goes something like "When the hunt is through, this Bud's for you." Very observant of your son!

I agree with you six, but as Freddy says at the end it is very clear that they say when the hunt is through this buds for you. I know Budweiser has given a lot to the sporting community and continue to support hunting. We need these kind of folks in my opinion, because we certainly have enough enemies. My 2 cents

The Busch family is a long-time hunting tradition family and are very significant contributors to all kinds of wildlife causes...it is too bad the commercial may give the wrong impression tho.

Indeed GN, Mr Busch's niece lives in Albermarle Co. and you should see their trophy hall. Alot of African safari mounts. She married my great uncle's wife's brother.

Personnally, I enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee after a day in the woods.

(Not that I don't drink beer mind you)
