The second week of October Dale and I headed south east to Hatteras Island. We spent four days fishing for anything that would bite and had a blast. I finally got around to getting the pictures and will hopefully post them now..... Dale fighting a huge something? possibly a skate, whatever it was took a good size taylor blue's head that we were using for bait and ran Dale all the way until he had only four wraps of line around his spool...  Dale with a taylor blue.....  I ended up hooking up with a big something/skate later on the day just south of the point. Again using a taylor blue's head as bait... this one fried Dale's reel...  Here's a beautiful sunrise one morning down near the Avon ramp.....  And here's a taylor blue that I caught  | ||

Yea, Scott, where's the link? Love to see the pics. If none of you have ever been to Hatteras fishing in the fall, you've got to make the effort. Scott and I had a blast. Hope we can set up a trip every fall! | ||

Dale, Hey man! I have been out of town for over a week. Andrea's father passed away last Monday. We were up there before and during this whole week. We just got back last night. I'll try to link the pictures tonight at work. Of course my work e-mail has about 800 messages so it might take awhile ;-) |
