1.)Anybody know of a GOOD audio tape or CD
or even video that teaches fall calling?

2.)Any of you who are NOT grouse hunters (Never ask another grouse hunter for spots) seeing lots of birds on public land, esp. in NW VA? Care to share? (PSST! don't do it here! Email me at JJEREMIAHJJOHNSON@HOTMAIL.COM... sssshhhh! ;^)

3.) I'm a big boy. I need a 300# rated climbing stand. But since I only hunt public land I have to schlepp it far into the backcountry. It's got to be LIGHT and easy to set up in the dark!
Recommendations, please.

Jose,

Denny Gulvas put out a couple of great videos several years ago. One was on fall hunting and covered, in depth, fall calling. I am sorry I don't know where to send you to find it. Some of the other guys might know though. I found mine from a local hunting store for rent. I know Denny Gulvas surfaces on the NWTF forum under the handle OlGobbler from time to time.

Good luck,

BB

Jose,
Lovett Williams has a series of about 5-6 tapes that are excellent and can be found at several turkey hunting supply/catalog retailers. His second tape is all about fall calling. I do know that...

&

Midwest Turkey supply both carry the whole series and sell each tape for around $9.99 if I remember correctly.

As for the deerstand you might want to check out the Ol' Man series of Vision stands but in the Grand. They rate up to 400lbs and weigh in around 25-27 pounds. Awhile back Natchez Shooting Supplies had them on sell for a really good price, you might want to check there. Here's the addy,

Good luck to ya' Scott
