Hello - I'm currently planning a turkey hunt for the spring of 2005 and was wondering if I could get some feedback on Falkland Farms. I took a look at their website and it looks like they run a nice operation and was curious if any one has hunted with them.

Thanks
chuck

john, they are a top notch outfitt, the fellow that runs it is name tom if i remember right, and he is one heck of a guy. i quail hunted the farm a few years back, trip that involved general motors, and was very impressed with them.we shot a few rounds on his skeet course and went on a hunt for the afternoon the girl that worked there at the time even let me use her ruger red lable over and under,i think she thought i had a little talent and thought i should be using something better than i was.i had a unique experience with them,i got stung by a bee late that afternoon and tom had to rush me to halifax reginal hospital( i didnt know i was allergic to bees)when we got back everybody else had eatin and the cook kept my plate nice and hot for me,and boy it was some good eatin.i would highly recomend them for any kind of hunt, they are great people.

Chuck - Thanks for the reply. I spoke with Jennifer yesterday and I'm waiting for a call back from Tom. They seem to be very professional which is what I'm looking for. Now I just need to see how the turkey population is in that area and how much pressure they put on them in the spring. Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback Reed... I'm still waiting to hear from Tom. I'll try him again next week as I'm sure things are crazy there with deer season and the holidays.
